Quality is long remembered after price is forgotten.
Often spoken of but not always delivered. Quality livestock is based on a foundation of genetics from reliable suppliers (studs/farmers/breeders) and a lack of physical problems (cull faults). Quality livestock must go through a quality export process to your destination to remain a successful animal.
Quality sees the animal fitting your climate and your long term goals, it must perform to help you achieve your success. It must be adaptable not only to your climate but also to your management systems.
During our inquiries we sometimes hear “we want the highest quality at the lowest price”. We are not sure why a supplier would sell his highest quality at the lowest price? It has been this way with livestock since they were first sold. The lowest price will always be the lowest quality as we can’t operate on high margins in this competitive world.
Our network of 100s of suppliers guarantees quality or we simply say no please wait till quality is available. Quality is often seasonal as not all animals breed all year, some do such as polyestrous sheep.
Quality really matters and ensures success and it is what Cluny Exports focusses on.
